Hello,
I have freshly installed gnome 2.6.0 on debian woody with backports and
XFree 4.3.
I have used garnome to compile the lot.
My main problem is, that nautilus does not know how to handle .desktop
or .disk files in the locations
computer:///
start-here:///
etc.
Elsewhere nautilus seems to be quite happy and knows how to handle
things in
fonts:///
themes:///
or my personal multimedia data.
So the Mime system or Bonobo seem to work in general but fail in htat
very respect.
in .xsession-errors I find these:
(nautilus:4346): Eel-WARNING **: "nautilus-metafile.c: metafiles" hash
table still has 3 elements at quit time (keys above)
--- Hash table keys for warning below:
--> computer:///
--> preferences:///
--> start-here:///
(nautilus:4346): Eel-WARNING **: "nautilus-directory.c: directories"
hash table
still has 3 elements at quit time (keys above)
(nautilus:4346): Bonobo-WARNING **: Leaked a total of 26 refs to 22
bonobo object(s)
** (nautilus:4346): WARNING **: CORBA_ORB_destroy: ORB still has 2 refs.
** (nautilus:4346): WARNING **: ORB: a total of 137 refs to ORB objects
were leaked
any ideas?
