Re: How do I add USB mountpoint to the desktop



You must add a line to /etc/fstab such as:

/dev/sda1	/mnt/usbfs	vfat	user,noauto

- 'user' means that non-root users (such as you on the desktop) can
mount the device
- 'noauto' prevents it from being mounted automatically on boot
