Gnome Clipboard and gnome-speech

Hi all,

I had this idea about using gnome-speech for selecting some text in the
screen and having these text "spoken" by the tts synthesizer.

Does anybody know if there is any program there that already does that? 

I think that gnopernicus reads the titles of the windows in the screen,
but nothing else.
