Cannot connect to server via SSH ...

For some weird reason, my (mounted) server volumes on my gnome desktop
stopped working, so I deleted the icons (unmount volume) and started all
over again.

Now when I select 'Places | Connect to Server ... | Service type: SSH
and Server: webserver' I get the following error message:

Can't display location "sftp://root webserver"
There is no default associated with this location.

Weird, because if I fire up xterm and run ssh, I can reach the webserver
without a glitch.

What's going wrong here?
