how fast is fast , and how slow is slow ?
As humanely as possible, i could reproduce this 10/10 times.

nope, not yet. Curiously, does running metacity 2.9/2.10 help ?
Sorry Ritesh, I don't know. Our machines aren't under our control (or
I would already have tried the latest Gnome etc.).
