I'm not sure if this is a gnome issue or not, so pointers welcome.
I'm running Ubuntu Hardy. I used to be able to plug in my usb flash
and have it automatically mount. How it did that I was never sure.
But it worked.
Today, when I plug it in I get a pop-up window:
Cannot mount volume.
Invalid mount option when attempting to mount the volume
Can someone explain the process that happens when I plug in the flash
drive? What process is showing me that pop-up message? Network
manager?
Is there any place where it says *what* the invalid option was? Feels
like I'm using Windows when I get an error message that doesn't tell
me what the problem really is. ;)
Where can I find what mount options it was trying to use?
syslog only shows:
