best way for remote gnome session

Hello all,

I'm new on this list; I've been usgin Gnome for long time... but
recently bumped into this:

How do I get a full gnome session on a remote Gnome host ? What is the
best practice for this ?

I usually "ssh -X ...." to the remote host and then type
gnome-session... but things usually get a bit mixed up with the gnome
session running on the "local host"...

So, is there a correct way to get a gnome-session on a remote host
without interfering with the local session ?
