Have used the following command:
]$ gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.auto-move-windows
application-list\
"['firefox.desktop:1','evolution.desktop:2','XChat-GNOME.desktop:2']"
On login firfox and evolution place themselves on the correct desktop.
XChat-GNOME does not. It ignores desktop:2 and uses :1 instead. I have
tried several different variations on the name, not being sure whether
'auto-move-windows' extension was looking for a window name, or start
command or what? I have tried the gsettings as both root and user.
Any suggestions?
