I've grepped all through /etc/dconf/db for '300' trying to find a leftover setting that is causing this to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas? Is this running as the given user, or are you trying to set this globally ? You might want to check out - https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/dconf/Sys temAdministrators . Cheers -ritz
