Well,

    After a long, long wait... and several weeks of code being
    rewritten, I bring you a new release of Encompass. This
    version is the first in a series of alpha release which show
    off the new codebase and featureset. If you use an older
    version of Encompass, for actually browsing the web, do not
    install this over top of it. This version has all the http
    code removed. It is the first release of the new codebase,
    which is completely rewritten, and is much more extensible.
    HTTP support will not be implemented until the full featureset
    that is intended to be implemented for a stable release works
    flawlessly with local files.
