[gnome-love] I'd like to help

Hi!

I'm Miky from Italy and I am a new born penguin. Yes, I'm a newbie Linux user
(or maybe amministrator, as I've to keep up my own system). I've read about free
software and all that, and got pretty excited. I decided to try Gnome. Only
that, an this is funny, listen! I didn't know how to launch it and I took a look
to the startx script and decided to try "startx gnome". And here comes another X
Win Manager: Gnome! After a week I start suspecting something and looking around
I found out that it was IceWM actaually. Today is the first time I use Gnome.

Well, to make it short, I don't have much experience but I'd love to join the
project. I am a programmer with some C experience. I don't have much time
either.
Is it something I can do, other than start to learn a bit?
