The Camel library, which is included in Evolution, has MD5 stuff.
On a side note, I'm currently adding CRAM-MD5 authentication for IMAP to the
mailcheck applet which is a part of gnome-core. I just went ahead and stole
the md5c.c file out of the Mutt sources because I'm familiar with it and
also so that the whole camel library won't have to be included into
gnome-core. (In the future I might steal some of the Camel code instead.)
Also in the future I'd like to add digest-MD5 support to mailcheck, but my
IMAP server doesn't support it. :\ For info on what I'm doing, check out

(The site might currently be down, but should be up soon.)
HTH. If you have any MD5 questions feel free to drop me a line. (:

Subject: [gnome-love] Digest authentification
Hello,
I would like to know if there is somewhere in gnome a library that can
calculate MD5 keys (or maybe others) for use in a digest authentfication
implementation. Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards,
Simon
