I didn't subscribe to the 'gnome-love' mailling list to deal with
people's hardware issues, but here goes...

You'll need a screwdriver. Take the case off of your computer. Find a
spare PCI slot (one that the SoundBlaster fits in). Screw it in. Put the
case back on. Job done.
