The documentation has been much improved for GTK+2. A lot of the API has
been documented. The docs are at

http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/

Under the "GTK+ 2.0 API Reference (PRELIMINARY)" section. If you want to
help documenting the GTK+ API, I think somebody on gtk-devel-list can
point you to the right person.
