How do I request my application into the gnome-core build?
I think aiming for gnome core isn't a good shorttime target. Gnome core is
pretty small. See http://developer.gnome.org/gep/gep-10.html for requirements
for it.
I tried writing to gnome-core-maint gnome org but have had no response.
The desicions what goes into gnome core is made by consensus on
desktop-devel mailinglist ( desktop-devel-list gnome org ) with final decisions
made by the release team. But there is no chance to gat a new module in for 2.4,
whats added to 2.6 will be decided when decided when 2.5 develepment starts.
How do I get my application registered with bugzilla.gnome.org?
To get your gnome application (cvs or bugzilla) hosted gnome.org is much easier.
I don't know the policies, but for bugzilla you should mail bugmaster gnome org
for more information. Even if you might not have need for this at the moment,
the mail address for cvs is cvsmaster gnome org
Currently I use the sourceforge bug reporting tool which I feel is not
as superior as bugzilla.
Yeah, sf bugtracking isn't the best.
By the way, maybe i could have been more specific in the mail if you had
included a short description of your program or a URL.
