Hmm.. I assume then that currently it provides the status of the bug
in the title? Otherwise for a simple link it wouldn't matter where the
server was (meaning Bugzilla which is my only interest).

Haven't made my mind up. Mailing prevents bugspam, but with large
projects creating a bug might be handier for developers as there
always is the chance a triager will review it (and mark it
invalid/notabug when it doesn't make sense).
