This means who maintains the vala binding referenced in subject.

The answer to the original question:
Use the vala tools to generate binding directly from couchdb-glib, as
the file referenced on wiki is old/incorrect and apparently is not
maintained. 

According to the couchdb-glib maintainer the project intends to use gir
directly for vala binding in the future.
