(FYI, for OSS, this is struct mixerinfo.name.) I'd be interested in
knowing how to do this, since you surely want a mixer to show the device
name. ;).
And well, yes, from previous attempts of several people in writing an
ALSA plugin for GStreamer, I've gotten as far as to understand that ALSA
is pretty hard. ;). I hope it'll work out. I'm not an ALSA expert,
fortunately. ;).
