The GStreamer team is proud to announce a new release
in the 0.10.x stable series of the
GStreamer Python Bindings.


The 0.10.x series is a stable series targeted at end users.
It is not API or ABI compatible with the stable 0.8.x series.
It is, however, parallel installable with the 0.8.x series.


  

Features of this release
    
      * Wrap new gstreamer API up to 0.10.30
      * Parallel installability with 0.8.x series
      * Threadsafe design and API

Bugs fixed in this release
     
      * 572766 : gst.Bus.set_sync_handler() leaks and can't be unset
      * 589582 : Missing gst.Buffer.size setter in python bindings
      * 590735 : [gst.GhostPad] can't unset target
      * 617068 : Adding xmp functions to python
      * 530417 : Add a nicer constructor for GstElements
