Documentation for Python+GTK+Gstreamer

Dear Gnome Music Devs,

I am pretty new to python and programming, and am looking for documentation

on how to use python to make a ambient sound mixer. Python+GTK+gsteamer
seems like the right thing to do, in order to have the most options.

For Windows there is syrinscape[0] and softrope[1] but neither are free
software.

So I am looking to change that.  Are you aware of any documentation on
how to use gstreamer with python?
