gnome-pim-conduits CVS?

Hi,

I have been trying to sucessfully get the conduits working
with gnomecc and gnome-pim.  I found the CVS for gnome-pim but
not the gnome-pim-conduits.  I know that it's "not actively maintained" and
I should use evolution, but 1), I don't really want a large, all-in-one app
when I just need gnome-pim, and 2) I can't for the life of me get evolution
built properly.

I checked the archives and just can't figure out what is wrong with the
conduits, but I figured I'd start by building the CVS.
