Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

Hi!

I recently upgraded to Evo 1.2, and accordingly installed
evolution-pilot-1.2, however, I cannot synch my visor (neo)
anymore, I get the following:

  gpilotd-Message: gnome-pilot 0.1.69 starting...
  gpilotd-Message: compiled for pilot-link version 0.11.5
  gpilotd-Message: compiled with [VFS] [GOAD] [USB] [IrDA] [Network] 
  gpilotd-Message: Activating CORBA server
  gpilotd-Message: Watching neo (/dev/pilot)
  gpilotd-Message: setting PILOTRATE=115200

->Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: 

I tried, xhost +, but that does not solve the problem.  Here
are the other related information, packages:

  gnome-pilot-applet-0.1.69-1.ximian.1
  evolution-pilot-1.2.0-1.ximian.1
  gnome-pilot-conduits-0.10-1.ximian.1
  pilot-link-0.11.5-4.ximian.1
  gnome-pilot-0.1.69-1.ximian.1

using RH 7.2.

I haven't seen to many posting about this particular problem, so
I am assuming that it works for most people?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
