I think you are confused. utf-8 is just an encoding for Unicode. Ie,
a utf-8 stream is processed to render a full set of unicode streams.
You can think of it as an `economic transport' for unicode.
But other than that, utf-8 is full unicode. What you want then is to
translate unicode strings to the correct glyph set for your language.
