[Gnome-print] Compiler error when compiling CVS version of gnome-print

I attempted to compile gnome print out of cvs today, using gcc
(egcs-2.91.66) and got an internal compiler error  in the function
"gnome_print_encode_timer_end"

 gnome-print-encode.c:934: Internal compiler error,
output_operand_lossage `invalid expression as operand'

Defining out the body of the function seemed to work just fine, but
there's probably a better workaround,
and everything compiled successfully.  At least one other person
(seth@eazel.com) has seen this error as well.
