Sorry, I just discovered, that gnome-uses separate header file

popt-gnome.h

I have no idea, why. But this is installed by gnome, so chances are that solaris
installation has it.
Anyways, you can either symlink popt.h to popt-gnome.h, or modify gnome-font-install
sources to include that.
