[Gnome-print] How to print Latin2 characters?

Hi,

I use some applications (balsa, gedit, etc.), which use gnome-print.
I use Latin 2 (iso-8859-2) character set, but on printed pages in place of 
latin 2 characters I see blanks.
The fonts I use are correct, and have latin 2 characters.
The problem is in generated postscript (in place you recode font, the 
latin 2 encoding is not applied)
The only character is rendered correctly using gnome-print is 'lslash'.
Please help!
