Andreas,
You are my new best friend.
We really weren't looking forward to going through the spreadsheet
research, testing, implementation, and user training all over again.
Any thoughts on a release time table?
By the way, is gnomeprint a compile in printing mechanism for individual
applications, or is it to be a gnome feature available to all applications?

It is inconceivable that the anticipated Microsoft Windows version of

CUPS on Unix platforms?
You will be happy to hear that libgnomeprint 2.7.1 will read a non-cups
generated /etc/printcap files and add the printers defined therein to
the printer list.
