How to use gnome_print_job_set_file(...)

I need to use gnome_print_job_set_file(...) in my code but at
compilation the compiler gives an  error saying:

gnome_print_job_set_file' undeclared (first use this
   function)

So then I compiled using -DGNOME_PRINT_UNSTABLE_API. 
At that time, ./a.out gave a relocation error saying undefined symbol
gnome_print_job_set_file....

What should I do?
