gnome-session-properties: How to save changes?

Whenever I make a change to session setup via gnome-session-properties 
(Red Hat 8.0 version), then close, I get the question:
	Some changes are not saved.
	Is it still OK to exit.

So I assume I'm expected to do *something* in order to commit my 
changes before I exit, but I'm unable to figure out what. ("Apply" does 
not appear to be it.) Help, anyone?
