hello everyone:
now i meet some troubles about gnome shell panel on centos 7, and need to
add application icon into panel(the function is the same as systemtray) as following:
1. when application run, add application icon into gnome shell panel (on top-right corner).
2. when application destroyed, remove application icon from gnome shell panel(on top-right corner).
the network NMApplet of gnome shell source (/usr/share/gnome-shell/js/ui/status/network.js) can do
it as above, the function be implemented by notify:state event.
the question are as below:
1. Does the gnome shell panel support the function above that is the same as systemtray?
2. if it can do it, who can tell me how to do it? thanks.
Best Regards,
tomsun
