Very probably I'll be doing the implementation at least partly separate
from gnome-vsf, you're right. Despite of that, I think the scope of it
is the same one gnome-vfs has, so putting it in a separate lib (without
separate functionality like a really general permissions API) doesn't
make terribly much sense to me at the moment -- we already have too much
libraries IMO, we don't need another one just for the sake of it.
In the end, it's the call of the gnome-vfs maintainers of course, not
mine ;-).
