The application:// vfolder method was removed in gnome 2.10 in favour of
the new libgnome-menu library (in gnome-menus) which is using the new
freedesktop menu specification. I'm not sure if there is any menu editor
availible for it yet, but I think some people were working on it.
Anyway, this isn't really a gnome-vfs issue. You might get better
answers on the panel list.
