Hi Thomas,

As you asked, I ported keyboard capplet to the panel. Please confirm
it works for you (or complain if it does not).

A couple of questions:

1. There was a command line option to display a particular tab at
startup. How is it handled now? Personally I do not care much about
that function - but that is going to be a regression, people will
complain.

2. The keyboard indicator status icon used to invoke keyboard capplet.
How is it handled now?
