Hi all,
I test the patch with an AVC camera.
It needs the latest pwlib and I tested it with the 1.4.10 release. For DC
camera, it seems that the pwlib recommended on the GM web site would be
sufficient.
Regarding the patch, it works well : my AVC camera works with Gnomemeeting.
However, I met a little problem. If I set the quality to 100% and push up the
other parameters in Gnomemeeting to their highest level, Netmeeting receive
just a "black screen". But the connection between the two hosts is still
alive, and it's just NM which doesn't receive audio and video.
My guess, and it's just a guess, as the pwlib has to decompress on the fly the
video flux that goes out of the camera ( on the average, it takes 30% of my
CPU whici is a P4 1,6GHz), maybe the "connection" can be lost if the CPU
cannot decompress all the frames from the AVC camera.
So, there is a little problem which needs further testing on my side.
