Does this end up making something like "12:00" be "12<smiley>0"? If
so, that needs fixed. This is one thing that I really hate about the
smilies in gaim. It is very non-smart about when to actually put a
smiley image in the display. I would also like to see all the smiley
images become part of the icon theme, but it really means we need a
naming standard, and better code to use icon themes. :-/
