Julien,

If you are looking for something to use to store config information, you
might consider using the PConfig class from PWLib. 

It has the following advantages:

	- it works on all platforms (including Windows)
	- it is threadsafe
	- it stores data in memory for speed
	- it implements write-through to store to disk (or the registry
in the case of Windows).
