It wouldn't really permit to pass the images to that other application. > Or is it possible to find another way where the > "content-creation" is separated from all window and gui stuff? > Yes, using openh323. > At the moment I use vlc (VideoLAN) which is very good for video > streaming but not so good for conferencing. vlc itself is devided > into a library, the main progam and plugins (for video/audio/data > input and output). Would this also be possible for GnomeMeeting? What do you mean? Audio input and output already are plugins. Video input is also a plugin. If you mean separating the GUI and write a GM library, then yes, it would be a major redesign, and I'm not even sure it would make sense as there already exist a library called OpenH323. So creating a GM library woudl only add GM-specific features to OpenH323 > I think it would be a major redesign of GnomeMeeting, wouldn't > it? > > bye > Matthias > > -- > Matthias Weber > > _______________________________________________ > Gnomemeeting-devel-list mailing list > Gnomemeeting-devel-list gnome org > http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnomemeeting-devel-list -- _ Damien Sandras (o- //\ It-Optics s.a. v_/_ GnomeMeeting: http://www.gnomemeeting.org/ FOSDEM 2004: http://www.fosdem.org H.323 phone: callto:ils.seconix.com/dsandras seconix com
