Being able to choose a different sound device for sound events than for
calls is something heavily requested.
I'll implement it, but I wonder if users will be able to use it
adequately...
If they want to use it with such kind of phones, they will learn ;-)
I just wonder how you, I mean everybody on this list, do actually if
your using headset. Only solution I found was to plug an adaptator in my
sound card output channel to split it in two: one for speakers, the
other to the headset.

Again me,
I'm just playing around with a K1000A Welltech USB phone and test it
under W98 with Xten light SIP software.
On incoming calls, if you set this phone as audio and microphone device,
you're not able to hear incoming calls if you're more than 50cm from the
phone.
The solution is to have an ring audio device which means that you will
set here your sound card on which you have speakers connected so you
will be able to here incomining calls ringing (don't know if it has
sence also for microphone).
Comments are wellcome ;-)
