I have not given my advice. I would replace "unanswered calls" by "missed calls", because it is a common thing in the cellular world. I would place all calls with a 0 seconds duration as "missed calls", except calls received when you are in DND, which I would consider as "received calls", and not as "missed calls". If you don't answer a call in time, or if you are already in a call when receiving that call, it is a "missed call". If you are in "DND" or if you "reject the call", then it is a "received" call. I would display them in the statusbar, no need to have a popup or duplicate the calls history. That also means that if you are in DND, the statusbar won't show that you have missed a call. Same if you reject a call. Finally, I don't know when the statusbar message should be cleared and disappear. Probably a few seconds after the main window has been focused ? Comments? When should it be done? When the user sees the calls history? When he is going in a menu ?
