After a deeper look at my logs I figured out a problem:

Even when all other interfaces besides ppp0 are disables, gnomemeeting
replaces my external IP with my internal hostname at one inportant place:

Call-ID.

This may explain why I'm unable to get calls.

Same thing happens with SUBSCRIBE method.

Btw, linphone does this correct. :)
