Can I use GnomeMeeting on a system with multiple network interfaces? I
am particularly interested in the SIP-enabled CVS version.
From my tests against Asterisk, it seems GM registers to the SIP server
using the first available network interface. I suggest it would be
better to send out the registrations on the interface given by the route
to the server.
For example, I have two interfaces:
eth0: public IP
eth1: 192.168.100.1
The Asterisk is also running on same system and listening on
192.168.100.1. Now GM seems to send out SIP messages using the public IP
address of eth0, instead of 192.168.100.1. This breaks all sorts of
firewalling and NAT that I have in place.
I can provide some debug output if the problem is not already well known.
Regrads,
Marcus
