Hi Damien, something around 2 weeks ago we had a short conversation by e-mail about translating the GM manual. So, if you are still interested, I am now available to volunteer. Although it would be the first time for me to work at a SW project, I have already a lot of experience with writing and translating technical documentation for telecom network equipment, core as well as access. I had a brief look at the gnome.org page checking out the general procedures. Anything I need to know beside of what can be found on this site? The English and French version of the manual I saw in the CVS where in *.XML. Any special editor and/or tool which you recommend for the work? Do you have any time frames, until which the next version/subversion of GM should be released? Do you need any general information from my side? Regards, -- Martin P.S. I tried to contact you via IRC today, just had some problems to set up an irc-client for the first time. So I guess the message I send there ended up in nirvana :-)
