Hi Damien.
I hope you read this when you come back from your time-out.
I found 2 problems, concerning the jitter buffer. One minor and one
major one.
I. Crash after abnormal termination of the the jitter-buffer thread
This is a minor problem. I called some other guy ( h323 ) and just one
sec after the connection was esambilished the other guy hung up. Then a
message box popped up, telling me something about an abnormal
termination of the jitter buffer thread. I clicked on "Ok" and just
after that gnomemeeting crashed while cleaning up the remains of the
previous connection.
However, sadly I was not able to reproduce this crash.
II. H323 jitter buffer broken
Note: This happens only with H323 connections, so I suspect a bug in the
openh323 library. SIP calls work just fine.
In short: When I call some guy with H323 he can hear and understand me
fine, but the sound from his side is like the guy's got a stutter. You
hear the sound but you really don't understand a word. The packet flow
is normal with no serious latency.
This is a serious problem.
Greetings,
Jan Schiefer!
