I agree. Setting the values dynamically when something becomes avaiable
would be the ultimate solution.

I agree again. But we have to find compromises betwenn clean code and
working code.

See, we already have a compromise. :)
This is a serious and even more nasty problem, that will affect
useability in a real world scenario.
