Try CVS and try to put a limit on the video bandwidth in kbytes/s.
This will cope with your problem.
Other users reported that it was necessary to limit the bandwidth used
by the video.
Increase the jitter buffer value in case of problem.

It should be non updated blocks transmitted. You are right.

No, this is the maximum.
But it is normal to have choppy sound if the video quality is maximum.

Try CVS and tell me :)
(video bandwidth limitation disables the effect of the 2 above settings
(quality and background blocks) because they dynamically change during
the call to have the requested bandwidth)
