That is because these are the only devices you can use. :-(
FreeBSD does not have device drivers for any USB cameras and so
GnomeMeeting cannot grab live video from them.
The 'vid' program works because it has chunks of the linux ov511 driver
embedded in.
So right now, there is no way to do anything with GnomeMeetin and USB
cameras.
