The place to look for such things is bugzilla.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98179 describes your bug,
shows a backtrace and indicates that the bug was fixed in CVS on 12
november, ie 2 months ago.

I think (but it was never confirmed) that hiding the statistics part is
enough to prevent the bug to appear.
