[GnomeMeeting-list] What's up with ~/.gnome/gnomemeeting?

Hi,

Yesterday someone filed a grave bug against the Debian package about
a reproducable "PWLib Assert Failure <A>bort <R>etry <I>gnore" problem. 
I asked the guy to move away ~/.gnome/gnomemeeting and suddenly 
everything worked again.

Has anyone ever taken a look at what might cause this behaviour?

I find it quite strange that GM fails that much on the config file.
