I just tried the above on my office machine (which is a decidedly weirdish
RH 7.2 but the gnome/gtk install itself is stock RH) and got the
following:


On RPM install:

   3:gnomemeeting           ########################################### [100%]
error: execution of %post scriptlet from gnomemeeting-0.84.0-1 failed, exit 
status 1


On GM launch:

(-) Please check your gconf settings and permissions, it seems that gconf 
is not properly setup on your system



Haven't had a chance to check into either issue, but I just wanted to add 
this data point to the on-list diagnoses...

If these issues are not resolved by the time I get home (6pm CST/US or so)
I'll test them on a generic RH 7.2 and a Mandrake 8.1 testbed I just
finished up.
