Hello
I have just got a new job developing the database/ backoffice for a new
video streaming service providing sign language content for deaf folks
who are on the move. The plan is to stream video to 3g phones and such.
We need to do some experiments to ascertain how many frames per second
can be transmitted well over different bandwidths. We have some software
for windoze :( that lets you video conference and it lets you simulate
different bandwidths and packet loss and other things that may occur in
a wireless UDP scenario. I don't want to use windows. can gnomemeeting
'choke' the bandwidth and simulate packet loss? are there any linux
tools that can?
any help appreciated.
